1Create a project

Select New project, enter its name, description, owner, team, start and target completion dates. Start dates cannot be after target dates.

2Add tasks and owners

Add a task with its owner, due date, status, priority, estimated and actual hours, completion and notes. Add staff first in Staff Planner to assign owners.

3Dependencies and health

Choose predecessor tasks in the same project. Cycles are rejected. Off track means the target date has passed with open tasks or more than half of open tasks are overdue. Any blocked/overdue work or a completion lag above 25 percentage points makes the project at risk.

4Views and progress

Use the task table to filter and sort. Kanban status selectors move tasks between states. Timeline shows scheduled dates and completion. Project progress is the unweighted average of task completion; completed tasks count as 100%. Remaining hours are estimated effort minus actual effort, floored at zero.

You're all set.
